Why is the numbers for Vänsterpartiet so low? Doesn’t people get Ohly? I thought he was great last time I saw him. If it wasn’t for all the integrity issues in our country, I would give him my vote. Or if he declared that Vänsterpartiet would happily cooperate with Piratpartiet.
Why don’t you, Ohly? If you did that, my choice for voting would be so much more difficoult.
Frankly, I think he needs to be seen more. Before last election I had no idea what the new Vänsterpartiet stood for. And I am a leftie. Ofcourse, I spent all my time listening to pirates… And I don’t watch TV. Maybe that’s the problem…
I think Ohly comes across a little bit too “slimy” – I think he should smile a whole lot less and then people would trust him more. And maybe wear some better clothes – just because you are on the left does not mean you are not allowed to dress well..!
Well… Because Ohly is a communist?
And people past the age of 14 usually don´t want communists at power?
So if I dress REALLY well and appear “not slimy”, do I get all the votes? I really hope people base their voting decisions on more than that! Otherwise, why do we even have debates? We could just have gameshows or something.
I never wanted Vänsterpartiet to rule. I want it to influence the rest of the parties in the right direction, since all the other ones is way over at the right (wrong) side of where I am standing…
I’m sorry to be the one to point this out, but yes, if a politician comes across as trustworthy and confident, then they will, in fact, get more votes. When I have seen Lars Ohly on TV, he was neither of these. And maybe that isn’t fair, but what is?
And keep in mind that people in general are stupid. Like that guy who thinks that Ohly is a communist. Sure, maybe he used to be, and maybe still is a bit, but so what? Is it illegal to have some communist ideals? Isn’t this supposed to be a democracy we live in? And didn’t Lars Lejonborg have a few fascist ideals?
And I am also on the left, let me add. But I still think Ohly gives a bad impression.
There IS a difference between “welldressed and ‘not slimy'” and “trustworthy and confident”, isn’t there?
I didn’t ask for it to be fair (allthough that would be nice), I asked that YOU who is reading this thinks about more than clothes and smiles before deciding who to vote on. I would personally have voted on Lejonborg if he was the leader of a good party… wich he wasn’t in my opinion. =) Even though he creeps me out.
Just because something is a fact among the public (stupid people voting for Reinfeldt because he is cute (apparently)) doesn’t mean I can’t influence it with words…
