Apparently I am a very bad programmer. I thought it looked good, and it worked nicely… in firefox. A tip to everyone else out there:
Internet Explorer does not handle a form inside a form.
Perhaps Firefox shouldn’t either, but it was so nice of it to do!
So now I have to go back to my original solution; put part of the contents at the end of the page and only leaving a marker saying that is where it belongs…
Internet Exploder sux.
I have a recomendation when you are developing for IE and FF at the same time. Install IE TAB plugin in Firefox. This gives you the ability to switch rendering engine at a klick of a button. Much better then starting IE and stuff. Bonus is aswell that you can use FF bookmarks etc.

Well, having the opportunity to see how much IE sux at all times doesn’t make it suck less… But it does make me do sucky solutions…
In a house, you can put a lot of stuff. You can have flats, in which there are rooms, in which you can have furniture, on which you can put various items. That’s a valid structure.
However, if you have a house in which you have one flat with several rooms, and you decide to build another house inside each room – then you’ll get some serious structural problems. It is not IE suckiness, it is just not a valid structure.
The point: Let the web standards help you. They were created to make sure pages work everywhere and for everyone, and they are easy to work with once you know the limitations they create. And valid HTML and valid CSS is not just functional, comfortable and accessible, it also give the site a good start with the search engines.
The site looks nice already, but instead of applying patches where needed – make sure that it validates since that will automagically fix most (if not all) errors for you. I promise that it is worth the effort. Just ask if you need to know why or if you need testing and validation assitance. 🙂
Ahem… I know, but I kind of lost that validation-adress-thingie you gave me…
Anyways, my frustration is no less since I now know that the tipi I wanted to have in my house is not alowed. =( You know that smal form was a very small one, and there where lots of them… identical, kind of. I don’t know how to solve it by making the tipi into a room.
