I say he’s wrong. Surely he can’t really belive that the internet, that lets us get influences from around the world (I have listeners from south america and australia on last.fm), is choking our creativity. Or maybe he hasn’t tried it…
My personal trigger for wanting to make music is Spore. I don’t know what it is, but everytime I watch a Spore-video, I get into that “how-would-that-sound-make-a-good-part-of-a-song-mode”… =) And I can’t get that without the internet. And also, without the internet, noone would get to hear my music, and that would not make me feel creative…
You do know that he has admitted beeing a “person scared of tech” or what you call it.
I think he should be well suited as a amish person 🙂

I agree with a Point, it seems he made: There is too much Technik in our todays Life. And this is not gut for us! But I really do not think, that shutting down the Internet will solve the Problem.

DE2006: I don’t think it’s the technology that is bad for us. It’ how we use it. Some people use it better than others…
